The Boylston Trading Co. offers up a new pair of jeans from Michigan’s own Distinct Life and the Detroit Denim Company, marking the first collaboration between the two Great Lakes State brands. Started by the co-owner of Detroit’s first exclusive sneaker boutique,Burn Rubber, Rick Williams‘ Distinct Life Dry Goods focuses on expanding the reach of some of his fashion, sneaker, and music projects, each defined by a focus on quality and tasteful design. Their first offering is a pair of selvedge jeans handmade in Michigan, featuring custom contrasting pocket bags that reflect the brand’s colors, a Horween leather label on the back hip, and a top button milled from a solid piece of copper. These are sold exclusively through Boylston Trading Co., but act fast because they are available now in very limited quantities.
