The HTC Rezound on Verizon Wireless is often overlooked by the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola DROID RAZR/DROID RAZR MAXX, even though it really should not be.  It sports a high-end 720p resolution 4.3 inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.  In addition, it boasts Android 2.3 (with a promised Android 4.0 upgrade), 8MP rear facing camera, 16GB of storage space, Beats Audio integration, Beats earbuds included, and 4G LTE connectivity.

Originally, it was offered for $299 on a two year contract, then it was quickly slashed to $199 on a two year contract, and today, Verizon Wireless is offering it for only $49 on contract.  Many reviews indicate it is a quality smartphone that can compete with the Galaxy Nexus and DROID RAZR.

Given its low price point, high-end specs, powerful audio integration, and promised Android 4.0, I would definitely recommend Verizon customers to take a close look at the Rezound.
